The Möhnequelle does not always carry water and is difficult to reach by bike due to its sloping location.
The Möhne can be easily followed by bike on the MöhnetalRadweg from Brilon-Stadt station.

The Möhnequelle is located directly on the Brilon Kammweg and the Rothaarsteig. The Möhne is the first major tributary of the Ruhr, which it picks up after 67.6 kilometers at Neheim. If you want to enjoy a view of Brilon, you can take a short detour to the old ski jump on the Poppenberg. It is located around 100 meters west of the Möhnequelle.
